Hariyali Teej Celebrated with Devotion and Joy in Lamta

The Asati Samaj Women’s Committee, Lamta, celebrated the auspicious festival of Sawan Hariyali Teej on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, with devotion, joy, and enthusiasm.

The celebrations began with the ceremonial decoration of a swing for Shri Shyam Sundar. The women lovingly swung Shyam Kunj Bihari, performed prayers, and offered Mahabhog before beginning the festivities.

The women actively participated in devotional bhajans, dance, and various games, enjoying the celebration in the presence of Shri Shyam Kunj Bihari. Young children also presented special patriotic performances, adding to the joy of the occasion.

All participants received Mahaprasadi of Thakur Ji, and traditional Suhaagan items associated with Shri Ji were distributed among the women.

The Women’s Committee emphasized that the event was not organized as a competition. Instead, the celebration was intended to allow all the women to experience the true spirit of Sawan Teej through devotion, togetherness, and joyful celebration with Thakur Ji.

Mrs. Mona Asati, President of the Asati Samaj Women’s Committee, Lamta, expressed her heartfelt gratitude to all the women who attended and contributed to making the celebration a memorable occasion.
