Saplings Planted Today, Shade for Generations Tomorrow - An Inspiring Green Initiative by Damoh Mahila Samiti 🌳

On the auspicious arrival of the monsoon season, Asati Mahila Samiti Damoh organized the “Harit Sankalp” Tree Plantation Programme at the J.P.B. School campus with great enthusiasm. The programme commenced with the invocation and prayer to Maa Saraswati.

The event was graced by the esteemed presence of the school Principal Shri Devendra (D.K.) Mishra Ji, Shri Sharad Mishra Ji, Shri Alok Sonwalkar Ji, and Shri Shailendra Asati Ji. The presence of members of the Patron Board, Advisory Board, and office bearers of the Akhil Bharatiya Rashtra Mahila Samiti further added dignity and significance to the programme.

On behalf of Asati Mahila Samiti, gratitude was expressed to the school family. Shailaja Bhabhi, along with the sisters of the committee, presented a memento to the school Principal as a gesture of appreciation and thankfulness.

The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from the mothers and women of the Asati community, along with several young children. Approximately 40 saplings were planted across the school campus, including mango, amla, neem, jamun, ashoka, bael, shami, kadam, tulsi, guava, as well as various ornamental and medicinal plants that enhance the beauty of homes and surroundings.

The school administration also arranged refreshments for all the participating women. Conveying a strong message of environmental conservation, the programme concluded successfully in an inspiring and enthusiastic atmosphere.
